The Baluch Collection of small area rugs draws on the tribal creations of nomads in northeast Persia. This collection has both Iranian originals as well as Pakistani adaptations. The designs are authentic and wholly non-western in origin. Tonalities tend to be rich and include deep blues and dark reds with eye-catching details in ivory. A few pieces employ light colored fields.
